AUSTIN, TX – Relying on some late-match heroics, Arizona’s Jordan Geist secured an NCAA Title in the Outdoor Shot Put event on his last throw.
It has been a storied career for Arizona Track & Field star, Jordan Geist, and just months after securing a title at the Indoor Championships in March, Geist was back in action, this time for the NCAA Outdoor events.
Traveling to Austin to take on the best of the best track and field athletes at the collegiate level, Geist had a fairly productive day on Wednesday, finishing third in the hammer throw.
