The Arizona Wildcats women’s basketball team was rewarded for one of the best seasons in school history with a 3-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Wildcats will host 14-seed Stony Brook, the America East champions, in the first round on Monday at 11 a.m. PT in San Antonio. The game will air on ESPN2.
Arizona is in the Mercado Region. N.C. State is the 1-seed, Texas A&M is the 2.
If the Wildcats win, they will face either No. 6 Rutgers or No. 11 BYU in the second round before a potential matchup with No.
