The Arizona Wildcats earned several first-place finishes in their inaugural track & field meet of the season at the Friday Night Duels hosted by Northern Arizona University.
Junior Rachel Johns began the day with a narrow first place finish in the women’s 60 meter dash, finishing with a time of 7.57. Arizona dominated the women’s 400 meter dash, with senior Sage Watson and sophomore Diana Gajda finishing in first and second place with times of 52.18 and 53.60, respectively.
The women’s team also had a strong performance in the 60 meter hurdles, once again finishing first and second on the leaderboards.
