Arizona Wildcats erase 19-point deficit, but late 3-pointer pushes Alabama to win

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Arizona trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half and wiped that deficit out completely, yet its poor early shooting remained to haunt them in a 76-73 loss to Alabama at Coleman Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.

Alabama freshman Kira Lewis hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to give the Tide what proved to be an insurmountable 73-68 lead.

The Wildcats had a 3-pointer from Brandon Randolph with 7.5 seconds but Alabama's John Petty made 1 of 2 free throws after a quick Arizona foul. The Crimson Tide fouled Justin Coleman in the backcourt with 5.
