The wait is over for Arizona Wildcats defensive tackle PJ Johnson.
The Detroit Lions selected Johnson in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL draft Saturday.
The Lions were one of three teams Johnson visited during the pre-draft process. The New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons were the others.
Johnson played one season at Arizona after transferring from City College of San Francisco.
