After sweeping Colorado and Utah over the weekend, the Arizona Wildcats moved to No. 3 in the latest Associated Press Top 25. The team took over the position vacated by fellow Pac-12 team UCLA, which was one of three Top 5 teams to take losses last week.
The Wildcats became the highest-ranked Pac-12 team after losses by both the Bruins and USC. UCLA dropped six spots to No. 9 while the Trojans tumbled all the way to sixteenth from last week’s No. 5 position after both teams went 1-1 at home last week.
