It’s a tough job being an Athletic Director in college athletics, but unfortunately the show must go on. Weeks after Vicky Maes stepped down as head coach of the Women’s Tennis team, Dave Heeke has hired Ryan Stotland to replace her.
Stotland, the now former head coach at Fresno State, has decided to return to Tucson! It was announced this past week, they he will be the new head coach.
Interestingly enough, the 2014 Mountain West Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year was an assistant at Arizona for some time. While it will be great in seeing him returning, it will also be exciting to see what kind of change he can bring back to this program.
