The new, Arizona Football staff is finally coming together in Tucson. Weeks after hiring Paul Rhoads as their new defensive coordinator, the Wildcats have made their second hire, this one being Stan Eggen to become the new defensive line coach.
Let me start by saying that on paper, this a very solid hire! And no this isn’t a puff piece, everything is perfect, rainbows and butterflies, etc. regarding the current state of Arizona Football, but Arizona needed to make some big hires, and so far they are doing so!
To be blunt, things have been abysmal these past two years, and when you look at the Wildcats’ record under Kevin Sumlin, there’s no getting around that.
