Arizona football adds home-and-home series with Air Force

Arizona is coming off a game in which it allowed 329 rushing yards and missed 13 tackles, which makes it the perfect time to announce a future home-and-home series with a program that almost exclusively runs the ball.

The Wildcats will host Air Force in 2029 and visit the Falcons in Colorado Springs, Colo. In 2031, the school announced Tuesday.

It will be the first meeting between the schools since 1974, when the UA pulled out a 27-24 road victory. All-time Air Force holds a 6-3 edge in the series, which began in 1959.

Air Force, which is 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Mountain West Conference this season, currently leads FBS in rushing offense at 341.
