When Mitch Lightfoot takes an official visit to Arizona this weekend, the Wildcats won’t really need to show him their facilities, campus or even an Eegees.
He’s seen and done all that already.
The Gilbert Christian standout forward is essentially a Tucsonan, having starred at Ironwood Ridge before transferring last year, and has visited campus and games so many times that he can’t remember. During an August visit, Lightfoot even tweeted out a photo of himself scooping into a strawberry Eegees drink while reuniting with friends.
But it’s not strawberries he’s seeking in Tucson this weekend.
