Of the trio of freshmen the Arizona Wildcats have, Kobi Simmons is the one most victimized by “peaks and valleys” as Sean Miller calls them.
The freshman’s performance will be up one week, but down another.
Last week, Simmons was in a so-called “valley.”
In the pair of games against Utah and Colorado, Simmons combined for 11 points on 4 of 13 shooting, while having twice as many turnovers (six) as assists (three).
“Kobi Simmons was in a rut in the last two games,” Miller said Thursday after Arizona beat ASU.
