The Wildcats have been on a roll. At 31-16 (14-10) on the season, and winners of 11 out of 14 games, Arizona is looking to carry that momentum into the final stretch of their season.
In head coach Jay Johnson’s first year at Arizona, he has certainly put together an impressive season. Considering, he came into the recruiting cycle late, he absolved an Arizona roster that in all honesty, isn’t super talented (at least in comparison to the 2012 National Championship team), and additionally had to instill an entirely new coaching philosophy and culture here in Tucson.
To say that this season has been successful, would be an understatement since most reputable sports publications were picking Arizona to finish near the bottom of the conference before the season started.
