Arizona Baseball: Wildcats avoid Sweep in Eugene

The Wildcats have lost a bit of their momentum, after previously winning 11 of 14 games, before entering into their weekend series with ASU last week.

Winning on the road is never easy, and it is especially that much more challenging when you play a formidable opponent in conference rival No. 24 Oregon.

This weekend’s action kicked off with Sophomore Cameron Ming on the mound. He pitched a solid five innings but got a little roughed up in the 3rd and 4th inning, giving up a combined three runs on tree hits. Unfortunately, the Cats couldn’t find any offense all game long, and those three Ducks runs of Ming proved to be enough as they won by a 3-0 final.
