After a challenging weekend last week against conference rival Oregon, Arizona Baseball has a great opportunity to get back to their winning ways, in preparation for a potential regional playoff berth.
The Wildcats started off their week with a quick, two-game series against Abilene Christian at home. Arizona kicked-off the series with a resounding 12-1 victory over the visiting Wildcats.
Junior Kevin Ginkel started the game for Arizona, pitching six, strong innings, surrendering only three hits, and one earned run. Ginkel also struck out three batters, in route to picking up his third win of the season.
