Arizona freshman guard Allonzo Trier will return for his sophomore season, Arizona head coach Sean Miller announced on Monday.
Trier finished the season averaging 14.8 points per game, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Trier shot 36.4 percent from beyond the arc, averaging about 28 minutes per game.
“I am ecstatic about Allonzo’s decision to return to school for his sophomore year,” Miller said in a statement. “I believe he will become one of college basketball’s elite players next season. During our conversations, Allonzo shared his desire to be a leader on a championship team and to improve his overall game.
