4-star wing Jahmai Mashack committed to the Tennessee Volunteers over the Arizona Wildcats among other programs.
The 6-foot-5 Rancho Cucamonga native is the No. 92 player in the 2021 class, per 247Sports composite rankings.
Mashack wrote in his Sports Illustrated blog that he has never even visited the University of Tennessee before, but likes the family environment created by Coach Rick Barnes.
“Coach Barnes is an amazing coach and an even better person,” Mashack wrote. “The first time I talked to him he was down to earth and told me how much he loved what I do on both ends of the floor.
