TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Baseball sophomore shortstop Colby Woodmansee has earned an invitation to compete for a roster spot on the 2015 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.
Woodmansee will report to Team USA on June 18 and final rosters will be announced on June 24. If he makes the team, Woodmansee will remain with the Collegiate National Team through July 9.
The Collegiate National Team opens its summer competition against the Holly Spring Salamanders on June 20 at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C., and will also face Chinese Taipei seven times throughout the month, as well as a five-game set with Cuba in July.
