ASU's grounds crew always does a phenomenal job at keeping Frank Kush Field in ready to play conditions, and the weather earlier in the day put them through their paces. Coach Dillingham's first comment in his postgame press conference speaks volumes to all the support that goes in to football in and out of the game.

"We still played terrible in the red zone, a lot of that's on me."

Credit to quarterback Sam Leavitt for taking ownership of the shortcomings in completing drives and leaving points on the board. The Sun Devils were 4-for-5 in red zone scoring, but a key turnover on downs down by a touchdown early in the 4th quarter could have been the difference between winning and losing.
