TUCSON, Ariz. – Two wins for Arizona State beach volleyball capped off the weekend at the Bear Down Beach Tournament, highlighted by an intense 3-2 win over Louisiana-Monroe that came down to the final court.
The Sand Devils improve to 10-4 (1-3 Pac-12) after a pair of wins today. They are 8-1 in their last nine matches and continue to have the best start in program history. The team is already one win away from matching last year's win total.
Two pairs were undefeated today. Oluoma Okaro and Ashley Wenz extended their record to 9-0 as a pair, winning both of their matches today in two.
