TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Football continued to be well-represented on the preseason watch lists with the announcement of Rachaad White and DeaMonte Trayanum as candidates for the 2021 Doak Walker Award, as released by the PwC Athletic Forum today. The Forum annually presents the award to the nation's top college running back.
The duo represent one of the most dynamic one-two punches in any college football backfield entering the season and were among the highest-grade running backs in the nation last season and anchored a Sun Devil offense that was seventh nationally and tops in the Pac-12 at 264.
