FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas - Turner Washington is set to defend his shot put crown and six Sun Devils qualified for the next round after day one of the NCAA Track and Field West Preliminaries, hosted by Arkansas. Washington punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships after a seventh-place finish, while Jamar Marshall jr. (110H & 400H), Dayton Carlson (800m), Jalen Drayden (100m), and 400m runner Justin Robinson and Gamali Felix are all set to run again Friday after recording qualifying marks today. ASU's women get going Thursday, with the hammer leading off field events and 100H kicking off running events.
