CORALVILLE, IA -- Three Sun Devils solidified their qualification for the 2021 U.S. Senior World Team Trials in September after placing at the 2021 Senior Nationals.
Wrestling alumni Josh Kramer defeated the number one seed, Nahshon Garrett, of the 61 kilogram men's freestyle class on the way to his championship bout against Shelton Mack on Saturday night. In the final seconds of the match, Mack grabbed a takedown to push himself ahead of Kramer for a 3-2 decision win.
Josh Shields and Jacori Teemer both fought their way through the consolation bracket to the fifth place bout to face each other in the 74kg class.
