Forward Khalid Thomas of the Arizona State basketball team has become the third Sun Devil to enter the transfer portal this week. He follows sophomore Elias Valtonen and Kyle Feit, although Feit was a non-scholarship player.
Thomas, a native of Portland, Ore., played in 23 games, averaging 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds. He played in 23 games but his playing time was sporadic. He played a season-high of 24 minutes in a win over Princeton. He had a season-best of 14 points in that game which included a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.
He did not play in eight games, and saw five minutes or less in eight other contests.
