The Sand Devils struggled against the Panthers to start the weekend. The No. 5 pair of Kate Fitzgerald and Rylie Kael battled in their match, winning the first set 31-29. However, GSU was able to win that court in three. Freshman Kendall Whitmarsh made her collegiate debut in this dual, teaming up with Ivey Weber on court two.
