TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil women's basketball junior forward Jamie Ruden was named to the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District® VIII Second Team for the second straight year, according to an announcement by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
A member of ASU's Barrett Honors College, Ruden maintains a perfect 4.00 GPA and is pursuing a degree in Psychology.
Ruden, who was also named to the Pac-12's All-Academic First Team last season, has played in every game this season and is currently fifth on the team in 3-pointers (15). Ruden has come on strong recently, having connected on 51.
