TEMPE, Ariz. – Triple Crown Sports today announced the Arizona State women's basketball team will be one of 10 squads traveling to Mexico to participate in the 2017 Cancun Challenge taking place Nov. 23-25 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya on the Yucatan Peninsula.
The 13th edition of the women's event includes long-respected powers from major conferences and a mix of mid-major teams.
Joining the Sun Devils in the Mayan Division of the tournament will be Columbia, Green Bay and Mississippi State. Participating in the Riviera Division will be Indiana State, Marquette, Montana, Oklahoma State, South Dakota and Tennessee.
