TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State Sun Devils will face the Wisconsin Badgers in the first SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on Thursday, Dec. 30 at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas Bowl executive director John Saccenti announced on Sunday afternoon.
This matches the highest bowl placement (Pac-12 No. 3 team) for the Maroon & Gold since the 1996 Rose Bowl team (2007 & 2013 Holiday Bowl). Arizona State will serve as the home team in the contest.
ASU will play in its 33rd bowl game overall and make the team's ninth bowl appearance in the last 10 seasons (not counting 2020 which was the COVID-19 season in which ASU declined a bowl invitation).
