TEMPE – Arizona State football has continued what it did best in the second half last Saturday at Mississippi State, running the ball. The Sun Devils have established themselves as a team that will pound the ball down opposing teams' throats.
Arizona State (1-1) leads over Texas State (2-0) by the score of 20-3 at the half. The offense is firing on all cylinders with 254 yards and only two drives where they did not score points.
Redshirt junior running back Raleek Brown leads on the ground with 66 yards on eight carries. Brown is followed by redshirt sophomore quarterback Sam Leavitt, who has 36 yards on eight carries and a rushing touchdown.
