TEMPE -- Even though the season has long since ended for the Arizona State University water polo team and another one looms, several squad members have continued to compete at the highest level in tournaments worldwide over the course of the summer.
Sophomore attacker Izabella Chiappini travelled to Shanghai, Toronto and Volos, Greece for three different competitions: The Pan American Games, the FINA World Women’s Junior Water Polo Championship and the FINA World Super League final.
Freshman attacker Viviane Bahia would also play alongside Chiappini for the Brazilian team in the Super League final held in June.
