TEMPE, Ariz. – The Sun Devil Water Polo team closed opening weekend with two exhibition matches – one vs. the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) and one vs. the Chinese National Team Sunday.
The Sun Devils ended their exhibition match vs. NYAC in a 12-12 tie, decided upon by the coaches.
Maud Koopman led the way for the Sun Devils with four goals, adding two assists, while Bente Rogge also had a multi-goal game (2). Six others added one goal apiece.
In goal, Bridget Johnston played the entire game, making 11 saves.
