Tempe, Ariz. – The Sun Devils started their weekend at Farrington Stadium with a shutout win on the opening day of the Sun Devil Classic which included 10 hits and three home-runs. The No. 23 Arizona State softball (14-5) defeated the BYU Cougars (13-5) with a final score of 8-0 in five innings.
The Sun Devils continued their hot hitting as senior Yannira Acuña hit two home runs and Jazmyn Rollin hit a walk-off to secure the win against BYU.
