The fifth-ranked Arizona State men's golf team had a heck of day at its NCAA Regional held in Bremerton, WA, at Gold Mountain Gold Club on Tuesday. The Sun Devils shot 14-under 274, led by a 7-under 65 by Connor Williams that saw six birdies and an eagle, as Williams shot 6-under in a nine-hole stretch.
The Sun Devils are at 16-under 560 (286-274) through two rounds with one to play Wednesday, and are nine shots shots back of Florida (25-under 551). More importantly, the Sun Devils are 23 strokes better than the cut line.
