Ticket punched for ASU.

The fifth-ranked Arizona State men's golf team played solid all week and is headed to the NCAA Championships after a great regional held in Bremerton, WA, at Gold Mountain Gold Club.

The Sun Devils finished at 25-under 839 (286-274-279), just three shots back of Florida (28-under 836). More importantly, the Sun Devils were 26 strokes better than the cut line, and that meant no stress for a team that has as good of a chance to win the national title as anyone.

Sophomore Connor Williams shot 7-under 209 (73-65-71) and finished fifth, while freshman Peer Wernicke tied for eighth at 4-under 140 (69-71-72).
