BOSTON, Mass. -- After finishing the final 40 minutes of Friday's game with momentum, the Sun Devil hockey team rolled that into a 1-0 lead over No. 17 Northeastern early in the 1st period at Matthews Arena.
Despite getting up early on the Huskies (3-1-2), the Devils would eventually fall 6-1 after Northeastern rallied for three goals to end the first period and never looked back.
"We generated some really good scoring chances and they're goalie played really well," said head coach Greg Powers. "We have to capitalize. We could have had three or four after two, and if we do, it's a completely different game.
