LOWELL, Mass. – For the second night in a row, Sun Devil Hockey got the first goal, but it was not enough, as ASU fell to the No. 8 UMass Lowell River Hawks Saturday by a score of 8-1.
Freshman Anthony Croston notched a point for the second night in a row, scoring on the Sun Devils first shot of the game. It was his second goal of the season, assisted by freshman Liam McGing.
Just like Friday night, UMass Lowell answered with a goal right away. It scored just over a minute and a half after falling behind, then again less than a minute later.
