TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Hockey has added another destination to their 2017-18 schedule, as they'll participate in the sixth annual Three Rivers Classic hosted by Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Penn. on Dec. 29-30, 2017.
The two-day, four-team tournament will be played at Consol Energy Center, the home of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. The other two participating teams have yet to be announced.
"Our program is thrilled to be a participant in such a great event hosted by a very successful program in Robert Morris," said head coach Greg Powers. "For our guys to get to play in such a tremendous hockey town like Pittsburgh in an NHL venue makes it yet another great opportunity for our young program to gain experience and to get our brand out in the hockey community more.
