PHOENIX – The Sun Devil Baseball program will make its 40th NCAA postseason appearance as Arizona State has been selected as the No. 2 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional. The four-team, double-elimination regional at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field will begin on Friday.
The Baton Rouge Regional, hosted by LSU, also includes No. 3 seed Southern Miss and No. 4 seed Stony Brook. The two-seeded Sun Devils will take on Southern Miss on Friday at 10 a.m. AZT. The game will be available on ESPN3/WatchESPN, and broadcast by NBC Sports Radio AM 1060.
Friday will mark the first-ever meeting between the Sun Devils and Southern Miss.
