Sun Devil Athletics To Honor Officer Glasser At Baseball Game May 27

TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Athletics will honor Phoenix Police Officer David Glasser at Arizona State’s baseball game against USC on Friday, May 27.

Sun Devil Baseball student-athletes and coaches will wear Phoenix Police Department hats during batting practice, prior to the game and during the National Anthem. Sun Devil Athletics will hold a moment of silence prior to first pitch, which is set for 7 p.m. All Phoenix Police Department officers and staffers, and their immediate family members, will have free admission and parking to Friday’s game at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

“Officer Glasser was an Arizona State University alum and a strong supporter of the athletics department, but most importantly he was a member of our community,” Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson said.
