Arizona State University has a long legacy in the athletics world. With over a century of sports, the university has produced amazing athletes like Randall McDaniel, Curley Culp, Christy Nore, and more continuing to join the ranks as the years pass. Recently the university has had the pleasure of gaining local talents such as softball's Bella Loomis, soccer's Jessica Hale, and hockey's Johnny Walker.
These student-athletes continue to add to the successful history of sports at ASU; however, the most unifying aspect of these players is perhaps not just their passion for their sports, but the connection of being from the same state.
