TEMPE -- On day two of the Littlewood Classic No. 22/23 Arizona State softball forced an 11-inning comeback win over No. 10 Kentucky for the second night in a row. The Sun Devils had a two-game sweep against Detroit Mercy, 15-1, and outscored the Wildcats 7-5 on Saturday night at Farrington Stadium.
The only losses for No. 10 Kentucky were delivered by the Sun Devils.
"We just knew that if we kept that same energy 100% and do what we needed to do," said walk-off hitter Alli Tatnall, "we were going to get it done.
