BOCHOLT, Germany -- Christina Edwards, a Barrett, The Honors College graduate, and four-year Sun Devil Soccer student-athlete, has signed a one-year professional contract to play for Borussia Bocholt in the second division Bundesliga.
Edwards, who played in 68 games in her Sun Devil career, was a letterwinner in 2016 after her freshman campaign. She finished her Sun Devil career with six goals, four assists, and 16 points.
"I am so incredibly proud of Tina for chasing her dreams of playing professional soccer in Europe," said head coach Graham Winkworth. "Her new team has inherited a wonderful teammate who I am sure will do a great job in the league for them.
