SAN FRANCISCO—Led by senior Joanna Smith and sophomore Alexandra Osborne, the Arizona State women’s tennis team had six student-athletes recognized on the Pac-12 Academic Teams, Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Wednesday.
Named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team, Smith is working toward a graduate degree in legal studies with a 3.56 GPA, and Osborne has a 3.65 GPA and is majoring in marketing.
Smith highlighted the Sun Devils in 2014 on the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, while this is Osborne’s first career honor.
Sophomore Kassidy Jump, sophomore Gussie O’Sullivan, junior Ebony Panoho, and junior Stephanie Vlad were each also recognized on the Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention team.
