Mickey Mitchell and Rob Edwards have more in common than just their graduation year and the uniform they're wearing.
Both came to Arizona State from other programs — Mitchell from Ohio State and Edwards from Cleveland State. They're both seniors, so their last appearances at Desert Financial Arena are coming up this weekend when the Sun Devils (19-10,10-6) play host to Washington (13-16, 3-13) on Thursday and Washington State (15-14, 6-10) on Saturday in the final games of the regular season.
The other thing that has bonded the two is something no two athletes want to have in common — a back injury that required surgery.
