CORALVILLE, Iowa – Arizona State redshirt sophomore Cohlton Schultz (130 kg) finished his run at Senior Nationals as the Greco-Roman 130 kg champion Friday, while his teammate Chad Porter (97 kg) went 3-0 to earn a spot in the 97 kg final, but finished in second.
This is the second time that Schultz, the top-seeded wrestler at 130 kg, has won the Greco-Roman championship. He was the first Sun Devil freshman to be crowned champion.
Schultz came out and dominated his opponents from the start of the day as he earned three wins, one by superiority.
