Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt is out for the rest of the 2025 college football season. On Friday, October 31, 2025, head coach Kenny Dillingham confirmed that Leavitt was going to have season-ending surgery to repair a lingering leg injury that has affected him most of the season.
Leavitt sustained the injury in the first place against Baylor on September 20 and remained out of the next game against Utah. He went back to action in later weeks, but the injury still lingered. Leavitt suffered the injury twice in the October 26 clash against Houston and eventually had to go off the field.
