Since losing to the Houston Cougars at home on Saturday, in which the Sun Devils faced the absence of wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State's chances of returning to the Big 12 Championship game are rapidly declining as they lose Leavitt due to injury.
After the game concluded, Leavitt was seen leaving the field with an apparent injury, and head coach Kenny Dillingham stated, "Sam got re-tweaked there at the end.
