Some minor changes are coming to college football.

The most notable rules announced Monday by the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel involve targeting and overtime.

When it comes to targeting calls, replay officials will examine all aspects of the play and confirm the targeting foul when all elements of targeting are present. If any aspect of targeting cannot be confirmed, then the call will be overturned. The will no longer be the option to let the play "stand" because there is not enough evidence to make a ruling.

Also approved was a progressive penalty for players drawing three or more targeting penalties in the same season.
