No. 21 Fresno State ran out the final 3:31 for a 31-20 win over Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl and a school record 12th victory.
The Mountain West champion Bulldogs finish 12-2. ASU ends up 7-6 in its first season under coach Herm Edwards, suffering its first loss by more than seven points.
Fresno State dominated the fourth quarter and outscored ASU 14-3 in the second half.
