The Sun Devil men's basketball team took it to the wire against the University of Washington Thursday but went on an 8-0 run to win 80-72 in Tempe behind senior guard 31 points and senior forward historic double-double with 21 points and 20 rebounds.
It was a tight game as the Sun Devils (9-11, 6-8) and Huskies (5-19, 4-15) traded blows as the game had eight ties and ten lead changes but with 58 seconds left in a tied game, senior guard iced two crucial free throws to put the Sun Devils up for good, securing a season series sweep of the Huskies.
