Mesa Red Mountain 2020 offensive lineman Ben Bray, whose recruiting blew up this spring, committed Tuesday evening to Arizona State.
Bray, 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, had 13 offers this spring, including both Arizona and ASU.
There is a big need on the offensive line at ASU. The Sun Devils have seven senior scholarship offensive linemen who either start or get quality playing time.
Bray said his recruiting took off after a May 7 showcase with other high schools that drew nearly 100 college coaches.
"Ben is a class act and a college recruiter's trifecta," Red Mountain coach Mike Peterson said.
